Calling All Investors!!!! May 1, 2010
In addition to offering custom tours, TourIstria has recently decided to venture into the Croatian property market, as well as business to business partnership development. With Croatia making great progress towards European Union (EU) membership, opportunities for business will abound.
EU membership will bring significant economic development to Croatia and will spur tourism. This will create a demand for housing from citizens of other European Union countries. Look at what happened in Bulgaria after they joined?
To begin the lengthy process of setting up a business venture in a foreign country, TourIstria is now seeking investors to fund Phase 1, which will entail the creation of an overseas business in Croatia prepared to buy property. Phase 1 will require $100,000 USD from as few or as many investors as needed.
Phase 2 will be the acquisition of a villa to serve as an office headquarters and lodge for investors who visit Croatia. The lodge will as serve as our first investment, as we will look to sell it for a profit once the real estate market takes off.
Our new consulting division will also seek to facilitate relation-ships between English-speaking firms and investors and their able counterparts in Croatia.
To acquire about investing, email us at istriainfo@gmail.com with your phone number and our President/CEO will call you personally. |

We also reserve the right to change offerings based on seasonal schedules of providers. If a change is necessary, we will make every effort to substitute an equal or better experience. Under no circumstances will changes affect the inclusions in your package, nor will they result in price changes.
OPTIONAL EXPERIENCES—On days marked Free Day, we may offer optional excursions for an additional fee. Please let us know in advance if you are interested.
EXCLUSIONS—The Signature Istria tour only covers what is listed. Airfare or travel expenses to reach Pula, Istria are the responsibility of the traveler. Meals above the two per day, as well as souvenirs, are also your responsibility.
SPECIAL NOTES—While we will make every effort to accommodate your physical capabilities, this tour may require walks of 1-2 miles daily over uneven surfaces. We advise guests to be in decent physical condition. It must also be noted that Croatia does not follow the same handicapped accessibility standards as the United States or United Kingdom. If your group requires special handicapped accommodations, the Signature Istria tour may not be right for you. Consider booking a Custom Tour and we will be more than happy to design a special itinerary that takes your needs into account.

SignatureIstria Tour April 19, 2010
TourIstria has finally relaunched with a new website and new products for 2011. Our Signature Istria tour has been sketched out, and we have also expanded our ability to create custom tours. Whether you want an in-depth tour of Istrian wineries or scuba diving in the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea, let us take care of every detail.
Our chief tour manager has deep family roots in Istria, which allows you access to the true soul of this beautiful region. |

The best travel experiences happen in small groups, and Tour Istria specializes in authentic tours that bring you closer to the people who live on this amazing peninsula every day.
Because our personal guide has direct family connections, you will have access to small wineries and family farms that show, not tell, what life is like in Istria.
Our Signature Istria Tour features ancient Roman ruins, including one of the largest and most well preserved Amphitheaters in the entire empire. You will also visit Hum, a town has been dubbed the “smallest in the world,” as well as seaside cities that maintain the feel of the Venetian empire.
7 Days $1,999/person ($2,800 for a couple)
Includes:
· 6 nights in a resort hotel · 6 breakfasts · 6 other meals (lunch or dinner) · All transportation in Croatia · Admission fees for all sites
Day-by-Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival Since everyone will arrive at different times, we meet at the hotel at 5 PM for dinner and to discuss the week ahead. After dinner, evening is free. To arrange airport pickup for an additional fee, please let us know.
Day 2: Pula and the Eastern Coast After breakfast we will get a taste of Pula, our home base, and visit the Roman Theater. We will then go for a drive to give you a feel for the scenery of Istria. Stops include coastal beaches and lookout points. After lunch, we will stop at a winery and later return to our home base. Evening is free.
Day 3: Central Istria, Hum, Roc, Motovun, Pazin Today is all about the magical towns of central and northern Istria. Stops include Hum (the smallest town in the world) Roc (the site of important Glagolithic ruins), Motovun (a hilltop fortress town with a strong arts scene that overlooks a haunted forest), and Pazin.
Day 4: Free Day What’s a holiday or vacation without relaxing—you’re in a resort for goodness sakes! Get a massage or lay out in the sun. There will be an optional afternoon trip to the island of Brijuni, Tito’s former playground and a must-visit for the jet setters of the world.
Day 5: Wine A visit to Istria without a day dedicated to wine would be sacrilege, so we will visit two wineries. One will be on a family farm, and you will see the many fields of grapes and learn about the two main types of Istrian grapes. Evening is free.
Day 6: Western Coast and Venetian Influences After breakfast we will venture up the western coast, stopping in Vodnjan to see the mummies, then on to Rovinj, Porec and Novigrad. These coastal towns feel distinctly Italian, and many streets and features keep their Italian name. We will see firsthand the Venetian influence. After dinner we will sip drinks on the bay in Rovinj and wander the cobbled medieval streets.
Day 7: Free Day—Goodbye Today is a day to relax and an opportunity to see some hidden gems you may not have seen earlier in the week. This time can be used for relaxing, packing, or getting to better know your new (or existing) friends. We will gather for breakfast and again for dinner to discuss what we’ve seen and to say goodbye.

May 5, 2010 Why rent just a hotel room when you can rent an entire house? If traveling with a group, or if you are looking for something different, try renting an entire luxury villa or private apartment building. This can get you away from the hustle and bustle of the city and closer to the local people that make the Istrian region so special.
